Most of Josh's career was spent on the client side of the table: chief marketing officer of a community bank, director of marketing and communications for a private college, marketing director for a financial advisory firm and for a general contractor, plus a stretch as a brand strategist inside an agency.
He has sat in the chair where the budget gets defended, the board asks what it produced, and the plan has to survive a quarter that did not go to plan. That is why the conversation here starts with what your business needs to happen rather than with what we would enjoy making.
He founded Simple Spark in 2019 and leads every engagement — the strategy, the design direction and the work you approve. You deal with him directly, from the first call through launch and after it.

Photographers, videographers, developers and production partners we have worked alongside for years come in by discipline. We write the brief, run the shoot and hold the standard, so you have one point of contact and one quality bar.
Scope is honest before it starts.
We would rather talk you out of a project than sell you one that will not do what you need. Smaller, clearer and finished beats big, vague and stalled.
The relationship continues after launch.
Some clients keep us on for hosting, maintenance, content and campaigns. Others come back when the next project arrives. Either is fine — what we will not do is disappear at go-live and leave you holding a system nobody explained.

We are based in Jonesboro and know this market well — but plenty of our work is for organizations we see a few times a year. Proximity helps on a photo shoot. It matters much less on everything else.
